These terms govern your use of this website and any free tools offered on it. Paid work is governed by the separate written statement of work we agree with you before any payment is made; where that document and these terms conflict, that document takes precedence.

Who we are

Free tools and reports

We offer automated scans and reports at no charge. They are produced automatically, they inspect only what is publicly visible on the address you provide, and they are provided for general information. They are not professional advice and should not be relied on as the sole basis for a business decision. You may only submit a website address that you own or are authorised to have scanned.

Engagements

Before any paid work begins we provide a written statement of work setting out what will be delivered, what it will cost, the timeline, and the standard the work must meet. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance; an engagement exists only once that document is agreed by both parties.

Payment

Fees, timing and any performance condition are as set out in the statement of work. Payment is made by bank transfer or card to the registered company named above. We do not accept payment in cryptocurrency, to personal accounts, or through money transfer services. Any request that you pay by those means did not come from us.

Software we install

Systems we install for clients are built substantially on open source software, which remains subject to its own licences. Once installed, the system runs on hardware you own and you may continue using it whether or not you continue any ongoing support arrangement with us. We do not retain access to installed systems, and we do not retain copies of your documents.

What we do not warrant

Software that retrieves and summarises documents can return incomplete or incorrect results. Output must be verified against the underlying source document before it is relied upon. Nothing we supply is legal, accounting, tax or medical advice, and it does not replace professional judgement. We do not warrant that any system will be free from interruption or error.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with an engagement is limited to the fees you have paid us under it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss.

Your material

You retain all rights in your documents and data. You confirm you are entitled to give us any access you provide, and that doing so does not breach an obligation you owe to someone else.

Ending an engagement

Ongoing support arrangements may be ended by either party on written notice, as set out in the statement of work. Ending support does not remove or disable software already installed on your hardware.

Governing law

Paid work is governed by the written statement of work we agree with you. Use of this website is subject to these terms. If a dispute arises about the website itself, we will deal with it in writing at elena.thorne@getleveragesystems.com.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you use the site is the version that applies.
